Periods of rain/wind
Settled window Sunday afternoon

Fri Sep 11: Saturday Dry and fairly warm conditions for south and eastern England. A frontal system sweeping across the north and west of Britain and Ireland brings persistent rain accompanied by strong southwesterly winds, extending gradually southward with time. Heavy rain sets in for Wales during the day. Patchy rain reaches the Midlands into afternoon. Rain fades to lighter showers in Scotland, most frequent in the west, drier toward the east. Wind will tend to ease with time as well. Highs 19 to 24C, warmest southeast where also quite humid.
