Thursday Thursday sees outbreaks of rain affect much of Scotland,
heavy bursts within some blustery winds across northern regions here.
Showery lighter rain through the Borders into northern England as
well as northwest Wales. Scattered showers affecting western coasts
of Ireland too. Some showers, locally heavy and potentially thundery,
pushing through the Midlands into East Anglia. Otherwise sunny spells
and dry conditions. A little cooler with westerly breezes though still
very warm across southeast England with highs here reaching up to
29C. Highs 18 to 22C further north and 24 to 27C central areas.
