Wednesday A very hot Wednesday across England into eastern Wales with
sunshine and hazy high cloud. A chance of an isolated thunderstorm
later afternoon into evening. A frontal zone over Scotland and Northern
Ireland brings outbreaks of rain, some heavy and thundery in places.
Mostly light winds, but some gusty southwesterlies in the west. Temperatures
climbing into the 30s for much of England and east Wales, highs of
34 to 37C in central, east and southeastern counties. 18 to 23C Scotland
and Ireland.
