Friday A fine day across southwestern Europe with sunshine for Spain,
Portugal and southern France. Dry for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia.
Some rain for central Italy, local heavy showery bursts toward the
south. Greece and Turkiye are dry and sunny. An area of rain from
the Balkans to Hungary and Romania, also southern Poland and western
Ukraine, some thundery bursts possible. A few showers in the Austrian
Alps, but mostly dry for Switzerland. A band of rain through northern
France, the Low Countries and northern Germany. Drier for south and
eastern Germany, also the west and north of Poland. Rain affects
southwest Norway, Denmark and southern Sweden, but drier conditions
are to be found near the Baltic. Some patchy rain for Finland.
