 Sat Jul 02: Saturday Showers and or longer spells of rain will circulate around Scotland and Northern Ireland throughout the day on Saturday. The showers are likely to be heavy and slow moving in places though with sunny spells in between. A band of rain continues to track southeastwards, clearing much of Wales first thing, while pushing into central and southern England. Southeastern areas should remain dry with lasting sunshine. Sunny spells and a scattering of showers behind the rain and across Ireland. Highs at 15 to 21C.
