Friday On Friday and much of central and northern areas of Europe will continue to be dominated by a Scandinavia high pressure. This does mean very cold, if not bitterly cold winter weather filtering down out of Norway, Sweden and Finland will steadily progress westwards across Poland and into Germany and many other central areas of Europe too. Much of the British Isles will be dry and increasingly cold as well as an E'ly wind begins to develop here also. Low pressure, however, will continue to be slow moving across Italy and surrounding areas of Med, perhaps bringing some large rainfall totals, downpours and perhaps some strong winds to Italy as well. Some of the best conditions will be across parts of Spain and Portugal, where mainly dry with some sunny spells, but rather chilly.
